Taman Safari Indonesia (TSI) recently concluded its 34th International Animal Photo & Video Competition (IAPVC) with an awards ceremony held at MGP Space, SCBD Jakarta on Saturday, November 8, 2025. The theme for this year’s event was ‘The Picture of Nature’s Secret’, providing a platform for photographers and videographers to showcase the beauty and conservation message of wildlife through inspiring visual works.

Record-breaking participation was seen this year with 26,291 entries from 9,115 participants, marking a 10% increase compared to the previous year. Aswin Sumampau, the President Director of Taman Safari Indonesia, expressed his delight in the growing enthusiasm of IAPVC participants, indicating a heightened public concern for wildlife conservation. He also noted that cameras and smartphones have become effective tools for advocating environmental preservation.

“Taman Safari Indonesia remains committed to making this event a creative platform that combines art, education, and concrete actions to support the sustainability of our planet,” Aswin stated in a press release on Sunday, November 9, 2025.

One of the highlights of the awards ceremony was Adhitya Wibhawa, the recipient of the Grand Prize for IAPVC 2025. His captivating work featuring a dramatic and well-composed portrait of an eagle impressed the jury panel. Through a minimalist yet meaningful visual approach, Adhitya captured the essence of tranquility, strength, and solitude in the wild.

In recognition of his achievement, Taman Safari Indonesia presented Adhitya with a Wuling Air EV Lite electric car as the highest symbol of appreciation for his creativity and dedication to wildlife conservation.

“Each entry we received speaks volumes about struggle, beauty, and hope. The participants’ works remind us that conservation is not the responsibility of one party alone, but a collective movement born out of creativity and care,” emphasized Aswin.
